2020 Books Fund Raising Drive

Luang Por Jamnian turns 84 on May 1st, 2020.  For this special occasion, some of Luang Por’s US students are planning to print and distribute a book devoted to Luang Por.  The book, titled “The Path Toward Nibbana”, written by Dr. Sukanya Kanthawatana, is a Dhamma book summarizing Luang Por’s teachings through the years.  The book contains a Thai and an English versions. Copies of the first edition of this book were given out to the attendees of Luang Por’s 82nd birthday celebration at Wat Khaolao on May 1st, 2018.

This new edition is a revised and much improved version of the first book with added sections.  Additionally, to honor Luang Por on his 84th birthday, a special section containing over 50 full-color pages of Luang Por’s photos from his travels and activities over the years was added.   Each photo is overlaid by one of Luang Por’s own Dhamma quotes taken from his over 50 years of teachings. This new book will be presented to Luang Por and be freely distributed on his 84th birthday this year.  The publishing of this book is funded solely by donations.  If you’d like to participate in honoring Luang Por and in this meritorious deed of spreading the Dhamma, you can help fund the book publishing by making your tax-deductible donation by clicking the Donate button below.  Please indicate in the comment section that your donation is for “The Path Toward Nibbana” book printing.
